Bachman-McCoy House
During these hours, visitors may walk through the House and learn about its history and the families who have called it home. McCoy merchandise, including honey, t-shirts, water bottles, Emma Bell Miles prints, notecards, and more will be available for purchase.
Tree Worx Tree Party

Don’t miss Tree Worx’s annual Tree Party at McCoy Farm & Gardens on Thursday, November 6, from 5–9:30 p.m. for a super-fun evening of live music, food, beer, a bonfire, a kids’ play zone, and FREE TREES!
Enjoy live music from Courtney Cowart & Bad Matador, grab something delicious from the food trucks, warm up by the fire, and take home a free tree to plant at home.
It’s a celebration of some of the best things at McCoy-trees and community- and is sponsored by Tree Worx, one of McCoy’s most generous corporate sponsors.
Tree Lighting
Thursday, December 3

The fifth annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be Thursday, December 3, beginning at 5:00 pm. The Bachman McCoy family began the tradition of lighting a big Christmas tree for the whole mountain to enjoy in the 1940s and since 2022, we have invited all our Mountain neighbors to join us in the lighting. The Bachman McCoy House will be open at 5:00 pm and Santa will arrive in a tractor-pulled wagon about 5:15 pm. Shop McCoy merchandise, antique and vintage china, and enjoy complimentary hot chocolate served by our elected officials. The tree will be lit at 6:00 pm. Parking will be available at the Horse Ring Parking Lot, St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, and the Glade along Anderson Pike.
