Come learn more about poet, artist, and naturalist Emma Bell Miles. Docents will be in the House ready to share the fascinating and tragic story of her life. More than two dozen pieces of her artwork will be on display. Walking tours to her homesite will leave from the front porch on the half hour beginning at 2:30 pm.

Welcome Station
Kevin Calhoon, with the Tennessee Aquarium, will be leading our spring migration bird walk. According to eBird, 130 species have been identified at McCoy. Come learn more about birding and see which of our feathered friends are visiting McCoy now. All ages welcome. Binoculars are recommended.

During these hours, visitors may walk through the House and learn about its history and the families who have called it home. McCoy Merchandise, including t-shirts, water bottles, Emma Bell Miles prints, notecards, and more will be available for purchase.
