Easter Parade

Join us for the second annual Egg Roll featuring fun for all, including games, cookie decorating, cotton candy, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Commemorative wooden eggs will be for sale for $10 and are admission to the spoon egg roll and obstacle course. 

New this year is the McCoy Mutt Easter Parade. Dress your well-behaved, leashed dogs in their finest and line-up at 3:30 at the Carriage House to participate in a stroll around the circle drive.

Spring Migration Bird Walk

Welcome Station

Kevin Calhoon, with the Tennessee Aquarium, will be leading our spring migration bird walk. According to eBird, 130 species have been identified at McCoy. Come learn more about birding and see which of our feathered friends are visiting McCoy now. All ages welcome. Binoculars are recommended.

During these hours, visitors may walk through the House and learn about its history and the families who have called it home. McCoy Merchandise, including t-shirts, water bottles, Emma Bell Miles prints, notecards, and more will be available for purchase.

Weed Wrangle

Front Driveway

Join other volunteers to learn about invasive plants, why they are harmful to the health of our forests, and how to remove them. Meet at the front driveway where we’ll be “wrangling” English ivy and Chinese privet. Please bring gloves, water, hand pruners or loppers, and wear sturdy clothing and closed-toe shoes. Questions?
