Volunteer
Help Support McCoy Farm & Gardens
You can help support McCoy by volunteering your time, talents and energy! Volunteering at McCoy is transformative, both for McCoy and for those who engage. You will find much to do with other wonderful, like-minded neighbors.
Current Opportunities
Weed Wrangle
Saturday | March 2, 2024 | 9am – 12pm | Front Driveway
Join other volunteers to learn about invasive plants, why they are harmful to the health of our forests, and how to remove them. Meet at the front driveway where we’ll be “wrangling” English ivy and Chinese privet. Please bring gloves, water, hand pruners or loppers, and wear sturdy clothing and closed-toe shoes. Questions? Contact Riki-Lynne Willmon at [email protected].

Bench Sponsorship
As you walk along the trails of McCoy Farm & Gardens you will find several hand-hewn pine benches. These are artfully constructed from a giant white pine tree that fell at McCoy and finished with a sealant. More are planned and available for sponsorship at a cost of $500 each and include a brass plaque with wording of your choice. Contact [email protected] to arrange a tour of future locations and to purchase.
