Weed Wrangle

Woodland Garden below Serpentine Wall
Join other volunteers from 9:00am-noon at McCoy to learn about invasive plants, why they harm the health of our forests, and how to remove them. Meet at the Welcome Station in the Horse Ring Parking Lot where we’ll be “wrangling” English ivy and Chinese privet to prepare the area to expand our new Woodland Garden. Please bring gloves, water, hand pruners or loppers, and wear sturdy clothing and closed-toe shoes.

Bachman-McCoy House
During these hours, visitors may walk through the House and learn about its history and the families who have called it home. McCoy Merchandise, including t-shirts, water bottles, Emma Bell Miles prints, notecards, and more will be available for purchase.
